The Last Word

Usually, it's hard to find humor in the fact that our daughter thinks she always has to have the last word, but here is one instance where Beth had to bite her tongue to keep from smiling.

Jenna was being punished one day recently for throwing a tantrum. The most effective form of punishment for her is isolation, because she absolutely hates to be alone. So her punishment was to spend some time in her room without her toys and any company, so that she would have time to think about her behavior. As Beth was taking the last of her toys out of her room, Jenna says, "Mommy, you can take all my toys, but you can't take my guardian angel!"
